Into Action Treatment Visits the Theatre at Arts Garage in Delray Beach, FL

Continuing with their tradition of enjoying life on recovery, Into Action Treatment visited the Arts Garage in Delray Beach, Florida. The Arts Garage is a multi-disciplinary cultural hub for visual artists, musicians, performers, film presenters and arts educators, and was founded in 2006. The organization is led by Executive Director of the Delray Beach Creative City Collaborative Alyona Ushe.

Into Action has been bringing their clients to the Arts Garage almost since their start a year ago, when Into Action was founded by CEO Andrey Rossin. ?We love bringing our clients to the Arts Garage, because of the wonderful quality and variety of their performances. We want to show our clients that there is a fun and safe way to enjoy life in sobriety and recovery.?

Today, Into Action Treatment went to see Gloucester Blue by Israel Horovitz, a play about Sex, murder and mayhem in a sleepy New England seaside village.

Into Action Treatment Center has been supporting the Arts Garage for a long time, and has enjoyed many of the wonderful live music performances put on in the past. ?Our clients look forward to the Art Garage performances each week, because it is something that they enjoy and don?t have to worry about anything else. The clients learn so much about life and living a good and clean life in recovery from the wonderful shows at the Art Garage. It really is a unique opportunity for the clients outside of the rehab center.?

Rossin believes that the arts are an integral part in a healthy and well-rounded recovery. ?We like exposing our clients to many new forms of entertainment and expression. Art therapy is a very effective way to treat addiction and by visiting the Art Garage, we are able to experience the arts on a much deeper and richer level.?
